ESAB Rogue EMP 210 Pro is an inverter-based multi-process welder for any welding project, be it fabrication, repair or maintenance. You can fine tune arc characteristics based on the material you are welding, with a phenomenal range of ‘user friendly’ synergic settings.
It’s an incredibly easy machine to setup and use. Training services for beginners are also available upon request, available @ £300 for 3 hours. This includes use of filler metal setup in the machine, mild steel material to weld, machine setup in our workshop with shielding gas, and comprehensive training on how it all works, and MIG welding methods.
The Rogue EMP 210 Pro is the ultimate dual-voltage MIG welder for a home workshop, garage, or site, because it is light weight, small, and can be carried in one hand.
We’ve ran the below tests on a 13amp household plug for your reference:
- 240V 13amp household plug – blows a 13amp fuse at approx. 170amps when MIG welding 5mm to 5mm mild steel using 0.8mm solid wire)
- 240V 13amp household plug plugged into a Sealey CR22525 240V 13amp 25mtr x 2.5mm² 4-way socket cable extension drum – blows a 13amp fuse at approx. 160amps when MIG welding 5mm to 5mm mild steel using 0.8mm solid wire)
We recommend powering this welder off a 240V 32amp or 16amp blue plug and socket (MCB D-rated fuse trip), to allow for consistent use up to full power, when plugged into extension leads.
Lewis –
We bought a Rogue mig from Spectrum and love it. They showed us how to use it and what it can do and fitted a 16amp blue plug for us to use on our 8 kVA generator. It is light weight and lives in the van for site work.
Highly recommend and good on synergic mode.

Thanks for your kinds words Lewis, and really glad you’re enjoying the machine.
