Plate bevelling machines such as the Gullco KBM-18 provide a fast, accurate, and highly efficient method of preparing plate edges for welding. Designed to produce clean, consistent bevels with exceptional precision, these machines significantly reduce preparation time compared with manual grinding or oxy-fuel cutting methods.
By using a cold cutting rotary shear process, the bevel is produced with no heat affected zone, no thermal distortion, and no vibration, allowing the plate to be welded immediately after preparation. This improves weld fit-up quality, helps maintain accurate root faces and bevel angles, and reduces the risk of defects during fabrication.
If you've never used this equipment before, we can get you trained and competent. Easy to understand short user guides are also provided, so you will be able to get up and running straight away.
