0.8mm x 4.5kg self-shielded flux-cored E71T-GS VacPac gasless MIG wire for mild steel. Usually used for outdoor welding in windy conditions, where shielding gas would blow away.

We’ve tested and sold most make and model 0.8mm thin-gauge gasless MIG wire, and this Weldmig product is the only one we sell now, delivering the best results on little 240V MIGs by far.

Gasless MIG wire is great for quick, simple and cheap MIG welding. It’s not an aesthetically pleasing weld like using argon/co2 gas-shielded welding wire, but it does the job and feeds fine down a 3mtr torch Teflon liner.

To be used with 240V welders with normal sized 5kg & 15kg type spool holders, including the below:

• ESAB Rogue 210 MIG welder 240V
• ESAB Rebel 205 MIG welder 240V
• ESAB Rebel 215 MIG welder 240V
• ESAB Rebel 235 MIG welder 240V

0.8mm contact tips work fine with this gasless wire, but 1.0mm can be used as well.

NOTE. Remember to reverse polarity (positive ‘+’ earth).
