This tip swivel bracket allows a submerged arc welder head assembly to be quickly re-positioned across a a job. Whether you need to go from circumferential position to longitudinal weld position, this bracket has massive range. What this means is that the operator doesn’t have to go to ground level to spin the entire column on it’s 360° giro slew every time the tip needs wide ranging relocation.
This design is just a great additional feature to work alongside powered slides for ultimate range. It gets the head beyond any obstacles and means the entire column and boom / and / or the job itself, does not have to spun / and / or lifted with the crane to get the torch to reach the prep. It saves massive amounts of time, and is extremely quick to lock into position.
Usually this bracket sends the nozzle across to the side 90°, and when combined with our fine tune slides and additional swivel slides, this can re-position a tip all the back back on itself if needed.
