1 . What payment methods do you accept?
Visa, Mastercard, American Express, PayPal and bank transfer. UK businesses may apply for a 30-day end-of-month trade account. spectrumweldingsupplies.co.uk
2 . When will my order ship?
As soon as cleared funds reach us we pack in-stock items for next-working-day dispatch. Non-stock items normally leave in 3 – 5 working days; we’ll email if the lead time will be longer and you can cancel for a full refund. spectrumweldingsupplies.co.uk
3 . How much is delivery?
Carriage is calculated at checkout by weight, size and destination. If you need a firm figure first, call the sales desk and we’ll quote. spectrumweldingsupplies.co.uk
4 . Do you ship overseas?
Yes—regular exports leave via courier, air-freight or sea-freight on DAP, CPT or EXW terms. We prepare all customs paperwork.
5 . Can I collect my purchase?
Select “Collect in Store” at checkout; we’ll email when it’s ready (usually within 24 h). Bring photo ID and your order number.
6 . What is your returns window?
You have 14 calendar days from receipt (or 30 days for web orders) to tell us you’re returning, then another 14 days to bring the goods back in unused, resaleable condition. spectrumweldingsupplies.co.uk
7 . Who pays return shipping?
Return transport—both to and from our Chesterfield depot—is the customer’s responsibility. If a manufacturer approves a warranty claim they may reimburse carriage. spectrumweldingsupplies.co.uk
8 . How quickly do you refund?
Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method within 10 business days of inspection. spectrumweldingsupplies.co.uk
9 . Are bespoke or made-to-order items refundable?
No. Custom-built items and special-order consumables are non-refundable, and any deposit paid is forfeited if you cancel. spectrumweldingsupplies.co.uk
10 . What warranty do you provide?
- New equipment: 12-month manufacturer warranty.
- Used equipment: 3-month Spectrum workshop warranty. spectrumweldingsupplies.co.uk
11 . How do I request a warranty repair?
Email or phone with the serial number and fault description. You must box or palletise the unit securely and pay haulage both ways; we’ll liaise with the manufacturer or carry out the repair in-house. spectrumweldingsupplies.co.uk
12 . Does the warranty cover wear parts or accidental damage?
No—warranty excludes consumables, misuse, wear-and-tear and transport damage caused by inadequate packaging. spectrumweldingsupplies.co.uk
13 . Do you offer technical support and training?
Yes. Engineers provide phone/email support, and through partners such as TWI we can arrange accredited MIG, TIG, MMA and FCAW courses or bespoke on-site training.
14 . Can I get bulk-buy or contract pricing?
If you regularly use wire, gas or PPE, contact us for a tailored supply agreement or volume discount.
