OK 53.16 SPEZIAL is a double coated electrode combining the running characteristics of a rutile with the mechanical properties of a basic electrode.

The double coating enables it to be used with small single-phase inverter welders with low OCV.

OK 53.16 welds on both AC and DC. With it being 7016 (as opposed to OK 48.00 7018), this means the mositure reabsorption rate is lower, and lasts longer after being opened without needing to put in a rod drying oven.

This ESAB OK 53.16 SPEZIAL product is the premium equivalent of the Böhler Phoenix Spezial D 7016 electrode.
