ESAB OK Autrod NiCrMo-3 bare corrosion and heat-resisting Ni-Cr-Mo Inconel 625 MIG wire is for welding high alloyed heat-resisting and corrosion resisting materials, 9%Ni-steels and similar steels with high notch toughness at low temperatures.

The filler metal is also used for welding of dissimilar joints containing non- and low alloyed steel.

Whereas stainless 316 grade is a great material for preventing corrosion, and 310 austenitic stainless capable of maintaining high corrosion resistance whilst withstanding high temperature environments, Inconel 625 is a far superior super alloy in every way due to it having:

1. Mechanical properties to allow for extremely high and low temperatures.
2. Super high strength and heat resistant.
3. Superior corrosion resistance, particularly in extreme environments such as seawater, acid, aerospace, nuclear, and ultra high-temperature applications.
4. Resistance to pitting corrosion (particle grains in liquids rubbing up the Inconel 625 at high speed / pressure / temperature).
5. Resistant to stress corrosion cracking.

Inconel 625 is extensively required for weld cladding of valve components and pipe inner diameters in oil and gas applications, where the environment and application is very intense and abrasives.
