ESAB OK Tubrodur 60 G M is a high quality ‘general purpose’ hardfacing MAG wire for welding high wear and impact resistance sacrificial external layers (on top of steel), such as digger buckets.

We used to sell this wire previously named OK Tubrodur 15.50 hardfacing wire, but now with a few upgrades.

It’s a 5%Cr / 1%Mo alloyed metal cored wire with HV 600 hardness.

Note. For wear part steel exposed to acidic, corrosive, fast action, extremely hot or obnoxiously hard tungsten material environments, then this HF 600 may not be the answer. We also stock additional hardfacing wires including ESAB ‘Stoody‘ Cobalt, and can spec the correct wire for the job.

Note. This is a fast-running wire, but low volts (approx. 25 volts) and low amps (approx. 180amps maximum) are recommended. Welding hot (ie. 300+ amps) with this wire will remove the hardfacing properties.
