ESAB Shield-Bright 308L is a premium gas-shielded flux-cored all-positional stainless MIG welding wire. This product produces the cleanest welds achievable, especially when welded with an ESAB Warrior Edge 500 with the pulse process.
Shield-Bright 308L all-positional differs slightly to Shield-Bright 308L X-tra, which isn’t an all-positional wire. X-tra is designed for more intricate lower amperage welds in flat, where reduced heat and spatter is paramount.
Shield-Bright 308L was developed for welding type 304L stainless steel and can also be used for welding types 301, 302, and 304 steels. It may also be used for welding types 321 and 347 if the service conditions do not exceed an approximate of 750°F (399°C).
