All that’s required for MIG on ‘CV’ setting is copper welding cable extensions and argon hose extensions. NO PLUG & AMPHENOL CONTROLLER CABLES NEEDED!!!

The ultimate site MIG welder, and all 400amp diesel welder generators will ALWAYS be used with 1.2mm flux-cored gas-shielded all-positional MIG wire. The beauty of this flux-cored wire is that is makes life easy on site (where conditions and are more difficult), and for the below reasons:

• It can weld in any position such as vertical with extreme ease (which is always needed on site)
• Is a far stronger wire than than standard solid (due to a deeper focused penetration) and can withstand much colder temperatures before breaking
• Bridges much wider root runs and plating gaps
• Can be used on thin steel and extremely thick plate
• Very stable and soft arc
• Cleaner welds
• Excellent weld bead shape, minimal spatter, quality welds, and high operator appeal
• NOTE. Always use Argon/Co2 shielding gas with this wire (approx. 15-25 lpm flow rate coming out of the end of the shroud subject to plate thickness, and more ltr p/min if in windy conditions)

When used with our rental RobustFeed AVS ‘reference lead’ wire feeder, this can be used with up to 200M OF WELDING CABLE ON ‘+’ and ‘-‘!!
