HIRE 500 ECHO @ £200 p/week

A genius bit of kit, and the ultimate solution to long reach site welding. No controller cable needed, and a wire feeder capable of remotely controlling amps and feed speed. Copper welding cable only. This means no more having to go back to the welder to change the amps. It can all be done from your working area.

NOTE. Make sure the small reference lead clamp plugged into the front of the feeder is clamped onto the same steel as the earth clamp, to create the ‘AVS’ circuit.

With the a special signal sent down the copper welding cable, this is a big upgrade from the standard Warrior 500 and RobsutFeed AVS, which is also doesn’t need a controller cable, but can only control the feed speed from the feeder, and not the amps (adjusted from the power source only).

The Warrior ECHO is also extremely generator friendly, needing 1 of our 30 kVA diesel generators to power 1 off, or 1 off 60 kVA model to power 2 off ECHO MIGs. This generator and welder package setup is the best site MIG welding solution where reach and run time is critical, with bigger generators and external diesel fuel tanks having up to 1,500 ltrs lasting weeks (compared to 40 ltr tank diesel welder generators lasting 11 hours).

NOTE. The AVS ECHO feeder works with all CV diesel welder generators and the standard Warrior 500 (feed speed control only), HOWEVER, The ECHO feeder can only control weld current ‘and’ feed speed when used with the Warrior ECHO power source (not the standard Warrior 500).

Our rental Warrior 500 ECHO needs to be on ‘AVS Mobile Feed CV‘ mode to work with our rental RobustFeed AVS ECHO ‘voltage-sensing’ wire feeder with reference lead.

The RobustFeed AVS ECHO is same feeder used with our 400amp CV diesel welder generator hire plant, and is designed to be used at shipyards for maximum access, where the wire feeder needs to be a very, very long way from the welder power source.
