Before repair welding, the defect must be completely removed, and fast. This Tri-Arc air arc gouging allows the operator to chase out the defect until sound metal is found. This is especially critical in forged rolls, pressure-retaining castings, and heavy engineering components.
19mm carbons are the most commonly used due to the massive steel removal rate, and this Tr-Arc torch handles the workload perfectly.
